Channel 31 is on digital channel 44

Deaf TV is a non-profit local organisation which is based on the enthusiasm of deaf volunteers in Melbourne. Deaf TV is primarily funded through member donations and sale of products. This volunteer organisation does not receive any regular Government or private funding.

Deaf TV screens on the local community television Melbourne Channel 31 every Monday at 6.30 p.m and repeats on Wednesday morning at 9.30 a.m. We often film the activities in the Deaf Community as many as we can. Some deaf producers may make their own sequences and may submit theirs to us. We would have a look and edit them for our Deaf TV programs.

NEW DIGITAL TRANMISSION
After a long campaign to fight for faclitate the digital signal against the Federal Government, Channel 31 finally opened a dugital tranmission in June 2010. You should see our programs on TV under digital tranmission with setup box. Analogue will be switched off in Melbourne at the end of 2012.
